Japanese Domestic Market only unit. Originally offered in Blue, Red, and White with matching remote. Later expanded to include Orange, Pink and possibly others.
Features: Power-save function extends battery life (see battery table below). 25-track programmable playback function, digital tone processor (bass/treble control), 40-second anti-shock memory, and several alarm functions. A “sentence repeat” mode will loop a portion of audio that has at least half-second moments of silence at each end, supposedly this feature is useful when learning another language and using MiniDisc.
